Yang Yuanqing highlighted that even with China’s economic slowdown, he sees strong potential in markets like India, the Middle East, and Africa. He remains confident in the long-term growth prospects of emerging economies. In addition, he mentioned that Lenovo plans to leverage the Motorola brand to expand into the U.S. smartphone market. The company is set to launch a new, innovative device tailored for American consumers in July, aiming to capture greater market share. He argues that while smartphones offer convenience, personal computers remain more powerful and feature-rich, and many users will upgrade to them over time.
