While Google has previously tested drone delivery under Project Wing in places like Australia, drones still face limitations in terms of weight capacity and reach. They are better suited for small deliveries, whereas self-driving vehicles offer greater flexibility for larger shipments. Additionally, cost efficiency remains a challenge for both drones and autonomous vehicles, especially when considering fuel consumption and operational expenses.
