New energy car is hot

The statistics released by the China Automobile Association recently show that China’s new energy vehicles have both prosperously produced and sold in the past year, and the growth rate has exceeded three times. On February 16, the Ministry of Science and Technology issued the “Key Special Implementation Plan for New Energy Vehicles under the National Key R&D Program (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)”, which once again mentioned the target of 5 million new energy vehicles in China in 2020.

According to the analysis, as a new national strategy, new energy vehicles have received strong support from the state and all levels of competent ministries and commissions, favorable policies are frequent, and policy support continues to increase. China's new energy auto market will surpass the US market in the past year or two and become the world's largest new energy auto market.

Last year, environmental protection agencies across the country carried out research on the source of atmospheric particulates. The results show that vehicle exhaust emissions are one of the most important sources of PM2.5 in cities.

The data recently released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that from 2013 to 2014, China's total promotion of new energy vehicles was 92,900 vehicles, and the number of planned promotion in 2013-2015 was 336,000. To this end, analysts believe that in 2015 the promotion of new energy vehicles will usher in an explosive growth, or reach 250,000, related to this, lithium battery, lithium battery equipment, motor drive and other industrial chain companies will continue to benefit. However, the development of new energy vehicles depends not only on national policy support, but also requires strong local support and linkage. At the local “two sessions” this year, the representative committee put forward many practical suggestions and policies on the development of local new energy vehicles, especially with respect to charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

Industry analysts believe that the national policy level again emphasizes the goal of 5 million vehicles, which means that the long-term development goals of China's new energy vehicles will remain unchanged. According to the hypothesis of 250,000 vehicles for promotion in 2015, the annual demand for lithium battery is expected to be 14.1 Gwh, which is the same With an increase of 220%, the supply in the first half of 2015 is still in short supply. It is expected that the total investment in lithium battery cell equipment will reach RMB 12.1 billion in 2015, which represents a year-on-year increase of 152%. Another point of view is that China and the United States have become the world's two largest markets for new energy vehicles, although sales of new energy vehicles in China still lags behind the 40,000 US market in 2014. However, due to the policy dependence of the new energy auto market itself and China's unique policy and efficient system, China's new energy auto market will surpass the US market in the past year or two and become the world's largest new energy auto market.
