According to Sha Chaoqun, Dawning's AI solutions have already been widely adopted across ten key areas, including video security, smart cities, and industrial automation.
Academician Li Guojie, a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chairman of China Science and Technology Dawning Group, emphasized during the summit that over the next 10 to 15 years, the greatest economic impact will come from the integration of information technology—such as AI and big data—into products and services across industries. He highlighted the importance of creating new business models, service formats, and cross-industry collaboration. Li also stressed that AI development must focus on real-world public needs, noting that AI should not only act as "vitamins" but also serve as "antibiotics"—irreplaceable solutions that address critical challenges.
During the summit, Zhang Deping, Vice Mayor of Qingdao, and Li Jun, President of Shuguang Company, signed a "Strategic Framework Agreement on Industrial Cooperation between Advanced Computing and Artificial Intelligence." This partnership aims to foster innovation, accelerate technological adoption, and promote sustainable growth in the AI and computing sectors. The agreement reflects a shared vision for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive economic development and improve quality of life.
