On the 6th, Shi Pengfei, deputy director of the China Renewable Energy Association Wind Energy Professional Committee, who participated in the International Conference on Sustainable Energy Engineering in Developing Countries in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, said during the interview that the low-cost vicious competition of wind turbines in China has not yet been contained. Low price vicious competition caused by manufacturers and owners

Shi Pengfei said that compared with a few years ago, the fan industry now has excess capacity and fierce competition. In this context, the good phenomenon is that companies pay more attention to product quality. The bad phenomenon is that the low-cost vicious competition has not been eliminated, and the quality of wind turbines has improved.

However, Shi Pengfei stressed that it is not easy to determine the reasons for the emergence of low-cost vicious competition. Because according to the survey, they found that this is not only the cause of the manufacturer, but also the reason for the buyers of wind power equipment (ie, wind power owners). This is what they “have not thought of”.

According to the investigation of the wind energy professional committee, due to a variety of factors, the procurement strategy of wind farm owners is often a low-cost bid, not considering the lowest cost of the entire fan life cycle; it is also not unexpected that the lowest cost in the life cycle is not considered. It is a question of mechanism.

The surplus of wind power installations is another issue that has been hotly debated during the development of China's wind power industry. According to the statistics of the Wind Energy Professional Committee, in 2012, due to the inconsistency between wind power planning and power grid planning and wind power and grid construction speeds, more than 20 billion kWh of wind power could not be connected to the grid. At the same time, wind power investors are still enthusiastic, with installed capacity approaching 13 million kilowatts in 2012, accounting for 29% of new installed capacity in the world.

Shi Pengfei said that for the problem of excessive installed capacity of wind power, he also had doubts: Since the installation has also failed to send electricity, you have to find a generator to make it turn around after a while, otherwise it will be abolished, and why is it still so desperately installation?

Later, he asked several investors to understand why. He explained that investors will analyze the direction of investment in the market. After analysis, it was found that investment in wind power is still the most profitable. After the wind farm is built, it may be connected to the power grid after 1 year, 2 years or even 3 years. However, as long as the grid is connected to generate electricity during this period of time, the investor’s return on investment is still guaranteed. The only difference is the late harvest. Come back a few years.

In the end, Shi Pengfei said that the surplus of wind power installed capacity may also bring some positive results, such as promoting the country to more quickly approve the planning of power grid construction, and speeding up research on issues such as wind power and integrated power grid planning.
