Omron PLC Address Allocation

Units in the Omron PLC system can use the addresses of the front and rear positions or units to occupy different addresses in the CIO area, understand the address allocation, and know the specific storage location of the input and output data, so that the data can be correctly processed using the programming.

First talk about address allocation of Omron PLC

In the I/O memory, the input address of the CPU unit and the CP1W expansion unit occupies 000 to 016 channels, and the output address occupies 100 to 116 channels, and 1 channel is what we call 1 word, which is also equal to 16 bits. In this paper, we use CP1H as an example to illustrate the rule of PLC address allocation.

1, CPU unit address allocation

X and XA CPUs

The X and XA type CPU units come with 40 I/Os, of which 24 are input and 16 are output. The input part of the CIO area occupies 0 to 1 channels, and a total of 24 input bits are allocated:

1 Bits 12 to 11 where 12 bits are 0

2 The other 12 bits are bit 1 to bit 00 of bit 1

Bits 12 to 15 unused in 3 0 and 1 channels will always be cleared and cannot be used as internal auxiliary work bits

The output of the X and XA CPU Units is 16 points, and the output portion of the CIO Area occupies 100 to 101 channels, a total of 16 output bits are allocated:

1 Bits 00 ~ Bit 07 with 8 bits of 100 bits

2 The other 8 bits are 101 bits 00 to 07

Bits 08 to 15 of 3 100 channels and 101 channels can be used as internal auxiliary work bits

The CP1H-XA CPU comes with analog inputs and outputs. Four analog inputs occupy 200 to 203 channels, and two analog outputs occupy 210 to 211 channels.

Y-type CPU

The CP1H-Y type CPU comes with 20 I/Os, 12 of which are input and 8 are output. Because the dedicated terminal for pulse input and output is occupied, the input and output are assigned to discontinuous addresses:

1 So the input of the Y-type CPU Unit occupies a total of 12 points in Channel 0 and Channel 1 of the CIO Area.

Bits 12 to 15 unused in 2 0 and 1 channels are always cleared and cannot be used as internal auxiliary work bits

The output of the Y-type CPU Unit is 8 points, which is also occupied by the dedicated terminal for pulse input and output:

1 The output of the CPU unit occupies a total of 8 points in the CIO area 100 channels and 101 channels

2 Bits 08 to 15 unused in 100 and 101 channels can be used as internal auxiliary work bits

2, expansion unit address allocation

The role of the expansion unit is to expand the input and output. The expansion unit starts from the next channel after the allocation channel of the CPU unit and sequentially allocates addresses.

CP1W expansion unit

For example, if the CPU unit takes its own input, it occupies 0 channels and 1 channel, and the output occupies 100 channels and 101 channels. The later connected CP1W expansion unit:

1 Its input is assigned in sequence from the 2nd channel and can be assigned up to 16 channels

2 Outputs are allocated in sequence starting from 102 channels, up to 116 channels

The basic I/O expansion unit of CP1W has different number of input and output channels allocated according to the number of input and output points. The principle of bit allocation is the same as that of the input and output of the CPU unit, for example, 12 inputs and 8 outputs. Expansion unit, input and output each occupy 1 channel:

1 Its input bit occupies bits 00 to 11 of the assigned channel. Unused bits 12 to 15 are always cleared and cannot be used as internal auxiliary work bits.

2 The output bit occupies bits 00 to 07 of the assigned channel. Bits 08 to 15 that are not used can be used as internal auxiliary work bits.

For expansion units such as analog and temperature sensors, the addresses of the input and output channels are assigned according to the number of channels they occupy, for example CP1W-MAD11, with 2 input channels and 1 output channel assigned.

CJ Series High Performance Expansion Unit

The address allocation of the CJ series high-function expansion unit is related to its unit number. The unit number is a hardware switch on the module. The special I/O unit occupies the addresses 2000 ~ 2959 channels according to the arrangement, and the specific allocation is as follows:

The CPU bus unit occupies the address 1500 ~ 1899 channels according to the arrangement, as shown below:

3, application examples

As shown in the figure, CP1H PLC is configured with 1 Ethernet module, 2 basic I/O expansion units, 2 analog expansion units, and 1 temperature sensor unit. How are the input and output addresses assigned?

The correct answer is as follows:

360 Laptop

360 laptop sometimes is also called as Yoga Laptop , cause usually has touch screen features. Therefore you can see other names at market, like 360 flip laptop, 360 Touch Screen Laptop,360 degree rotating laptop, etc. What `s the 360 laptop price? Comparing with intel yoga laptop. Usually price is similar, but could be much cheaper if clients can accept tablet 2 In 1 Laptop with keyboard. Except yoga type, the most competitive model for Hope project or business project is that 14 inch celeron n4020 4GB 64GB Student Laptop or 15.6 inch intel celeron business laptop or Gaming Laptop . There fore, just share the basic parameters, like size, processor, memory, storage, battery, application scenarios, SSD or SSD plus HDD, two enter buttons or one is also ok, if special requirements, oem service, etc. Then can provide the most suitable solution in 1 to 2 working days. Will try our best to support you.

To make client start business more easier and extend marker much quickly, issue that only 100pcs can mark client`s logo on laptop, Mini PC , All In One PC, etc. Also can deal by insurance order to first cooperation.
