LTC4444-5 100V synchronous MOSFET driver

Linear Technology CorporaTIon introduces a new version of the high reliability (MP) grade of the LTC4444-5, which is a high-speed, high-input power supply voltage (100V), synchronous MOSFET driver for synchronous rectifier converter topology Medium drive high-side and low-side N-channel power MOSFETs. The driver is combined with a power MOSFET and one of Linear Technology's many DC / DC controllers to form a complete high-efficiency synchronous regulator.

The LTC4444MP-5 can operate in a junction temperature range of -55 ° C to 125 ° C and has been thoroughly tested, while the operating temperature range of the "I" grade device version is -40 ° C to 85 ° C.

Using a 1.5Ω pull-up impedance, this powerful driver can supply a current of up to 1.4A (used to drive high-end MOSFETs); while using a 0.75Ω pull-down impedance, the driver can provide a 1.75A source current (used Drive low-end MOSFET), making it very suitable for driving high gate capacitance, high current MOSFET. The LTC4444MP-5 can also drive multiple parallel MOSFETs for higher current applications. When driving a 1,000pF load, the fast 8ns rise and 5ns fall times of the high-side MOSFET and the 6ns rise and 3ns fall times of the low-side MOSFET minimize switching losses. Integrated adaptive connectivity protection minimizes dead time while preventing high-side and low-side MOSFETs from turning on simultaneously.

The LTC4444MP-5 is configured for two inputs that are not affected by the power supply. The high-end input logic signal moves from the internal level to the bootstrap power supply. This function can work normally when the ground level is 114V higher. In addition, this device drives the gates of high-side and low-side MOSFETs in the range of 4.5V to 13.5V.
