As a lighting architect and first-class registered architect, he participated in the design of some major Japanese buildings, such as the Osaka World Trade Center and the Kyoto Concert Hall. He enjoys working with other young architects as well as engineering and stage design. In 1996, the North American Institute of Lighting Engineering awarded the International Lighting Design Award Merit Award. In 1998 and 1999, it won the DDA Award for Design Achievement Award and in 2007 won the International Lighting Designers Association Excellence Award.

Turn buildings into people's towns: When you stroll through a modern city like Shanghai, you can feel many different kinds of human activities, such as bustling shops and food canteens. However, most of the buildings are only superficially illuminated. Therefore, it is difficult for us to feel the existence of residents and human beings.
Therefore, we can regard these buildings as a town and start to show them the activities and busyness of human beings from the inside out. We can express the humanity, traditional culture, nature and different activities of modern cities through different lighting designs.
Without emphasizing a hard solid mass, we can try to show the city as much as possible, as well as people living or working in the city. For example, in order to achieve the effect of seeing people's internal activities, we usually do not use neon lights to illuminate or decorate.
Lighting not only decorates the surface of the building, but also links the world outside the building to the inner world.
