On August 27, foreign media reported that the largest technology exhibition in Europe, which will take place in Berlin, Germany from September 1 to 6, 2017, is set to open its doors to the public. Starting from the press conference on August 28, we can expect to gather more current and detailed information. What exactly are we anticipating this year? That remains the key question. The press release has confirmed that this year, the exhibition will showcase the latest finished products, while the component and procurement-related information will be shared at the IFA Global Markets. This shift promises to offer us more comprehensive insights into the tech landscape this year. We anticipate some exciting revelations from the electronics consumer show in Berlin.
LG

This year, LG is planning to introduce two new smartphones, the LG V30 and V30+, at IFA. For the first time, LG will use this event as a launchpad for its new models. The V series, particularly the V30, is expected to be positioned as one of the best smartphones on the market, targeting the European audience. Combining the strengths of last year's V20 and the G6, the V30 is designed to appeal to tech enthusiasts worldwide. It supports Google Daydream, runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo), and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The processor has been optimized for Daydream, promising a 27% improvement in operational efficiency and a 40% reduction in power consumption.
Samsung

Samsung is rumored to unveil an upgraded version of the Fitbit Fit 2 Pro and Gear Fit 2 smart bands. Compared to last year's model, the Gear Fit 2 Pro appears to have significant enhancements, including waterproof capabilities, Spotify integration, GPS, and offline playback. Its standout feature is the swimming mode, which automatically tracks minutes and laps without manual input.
Samsung’s press conference on August 30 might shed light on their plans for the year. However, the focus seems to be on wearable fitness trackers, VR applications for Gear VR, and potentially the smart assistant Bixby. Bixby is expected to compete with Amazon's Alexa, Apple's Siri, and Google's Home. The public eagerly anticipates Bixby's debut at IFA in 2017 and hopes it will offer language support for countries beyond Korea.
Sony

Sony traditionally uses IFA to introduce multiple product lines rather than focusing solely on series updates. In 2017, IFA could be the perfect stage for the unveiling of the Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact, and X1. Last year, Sony announced the Xperia X Compact and XZ at IFA, and the Xperia XZ and XZ Premium were revealed at MWC 2017. Expectations are high for Sony to expand the X and XZ series. There are also whispers about an updated version of the Sony ZD9 TV from last year.
Lenovo

Lenovo isn't far behind, scheduling a press conference for August 31. They might introduce a new smartphone called Moto X4. Updates to the Lenovo Yoga series laptops are also anticipated.
Huawei

Huawei launched the P10 and P10 Plus earlier this year. There are rumors suggesting that the Nova 2 series might hit the North American and European markets.
Fitbit
Rumors suggest Fitbit could launch a new GPS smartwatch this year. This might be as significant as Fitbit's recent acquisition of Pebble.
ASUS

Asustek unveiled the Zenfone 3 series at IFA last year. This series might see an update this year—possibly the ZenWatch 4.
Philips
Philips has confirmed they will showcase their toothbrush range. There are also rumors of updates to their television lineup.
Alienware/Dell: The 4K display seems to be the top priority for IFA 2017, though further details remain scarce.
We look forward to all the announcements these brands will make leading up to September 1, 2017. (Compiled by Chen Xiaonan; Reviewed by Li Zongze).
