300W Audio Power Amplifier

The 300W audio power amplifier features output transistors MJL4281A (NPN) and MJL4302A (PNP), which provide excellent performance with high bandwidth, safe working area (SOA), high linearity, and high gain. The driving transistors are MJE15034 (NPN) and MJE15035 (PNP). All these components are rated at 350V.

Performance Specifications:

At 8Ω and 4Ω impedance, the voltage gain is 27dB each. The continuous power output is 153W at 8Ω and 240W at 4Ω. Peak power output is 185W at 8Ω and 250W at 4Ω for a duration of 10ms. For a 5ms pulse, the peak power rises to 185W at 8Ω and 272W at 4Ω. The input voltage is 1.3V RMS at both impedances. The noise level is -63dBV (reference 1V), and the signal-to-noise ratio is 92dB. Distortion is 0.4% at full power and drops to 0.04% at 4W and 1kHz, and 0.07% at 4W and 10kHz. The slew rate exceeds 3V/us.
