Vishay Announces New Noise Suppression Resistor Improves Voltage Performance and Reliability
On January 24th, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of a new series of winding noise suppression resistors - NSR-HP. This resistor improves voltage performance and reliability and can be used in automotive ignition systems in reciprocating engines.
The Vishay Dale NSR-HP series of resistors are coated to protect the resistor core from moisture and mechanical shocks, increasing reliability while increasing the voltage to 45kV and operating temperatures up to +200°C. The resistor can withstand high voltage pulses at very high frequencies and the dielectric can withstand 1000 VAC.
The NSR-HP series resistors are ideal for use in gasoline engines and are used to reduce RFI during dielectric discharge and can be used in spark plug leads and spark plug caps. The ohmic and inductance values ​​of the device are 1kΩ to 15kΩ and 9μH to 78μH, respectively, and the temperature coefficient is ±250ppm/°C.
The resistors are RoHS and Vishay green and halogen free.
