Shanghai tunnel introduced LED energy-saving lamps for the first time

Recently, Dalian Dalian Road Tunnel is replacing fluorescent lighting with LED lighting. The east tunnel lighting renovation project was completed at the end of January, and the west line is expected to be completed by the end of June. This is the first time that the Shanghai Tunnel has used LED lights.

It is reported that after the completion of the project, the Dalian Road Tunnel will save an average of 580,000 kWh of electricity per year, which is equivalent to saving 234 tons of standard coal and 580 tons of carbon dioxide annually. This technology is expected to be gradually promoted in other large tunnels in Shanghai.
