Reporter: What is the current situation in the lighting industry? What are the characteristics of competition?

Wu Changjiang: In the lighting industry, the technical content is not high at the start, and the threshold is low. Strictly speaking, the industry is still in a disorderly state. In recent years, according to authoritative statistics, it is growing at more than 20%, with tens of thousands of companies. Regardless of the market law or the current changes in the competitive landscape, I believe that the next step of integration is inevitable.

Reporter: Now the price of raw materials has risen, which has an impact on many industries, especially processing enterprises. Does it have a big impact on the lighting industry?

Wu Changjiang: I admire one point of view: mediocrity people encounter difficulties and detours, smart people encounter difficulties and find ways to overcome them. A few years ago, the gross profit of our industry was above 40%, which is a profitable industry. The impact you mentioned is actually a return to value for a large-scale, branded company. The choice of the market is to lead our leading companies to lead the industry to maturity in advance.

Reporter: NVC should be a leading company in the industry. What kind of mentality is this integration or opportunity? What are the measures? In which direction will this industry develop?

Wu Changjiang: Enterprises are facing the world, and the industry is facing differentiation. It is the trend. For example, we have to take the road of internationalization now. We hope to have a model in China. After the model is refined, it will be piloted overseas. We have started in Southeast Asia and are playing our own brand.

There is also a large foreign enterprise to do the processing, you have to know where your cost performance, there is core competitiveness to produce cost-effective. Now NVC has set up its own R&D center in Shanghai, investing tens of millions of yuan every year. R&D allows us to know where we are, and this is a shift. In this way, we have an international perspective, and we can truly connect with the international community. We are now helping GE to process. In addition, we acquired a sales company in the UK and tried to find a breakthrough in the international market using a foreign ready-made network. I feel that internationalization is not for the label, but it should be real.

Now, the domestic market is growing, and the differentiation of the industry will also emerge. The more the scale effect is not done, the harder it is to do it. In such a differentiation, the industry will become healthier and the industry is actually such a trend.

Reporter: As a leading company in the industry, will there be pressure? You are the vice chairman of the Guangdong Lighting Association and the president of the Huizhou Lighting Association. What kind of work will you do for the development of the industry?

Wu Changjiang: When you are big, you have to take responsibility and lead the industry to do things. This is also a contribution to society and a contribution to the industry. It is necessary to standardize, develop and grow with this industry, and we hope that our efforts can play a good role.
