On April 19, 2008, the European Commission issued a notice stating that anti-dumping measures against compact energy-saving fluorescent lamps originating in China will expire on October 18, 2008. Domestic industries can be officially expired from the date of announcement. An application was submitted to the European Commission between three months before the date.
