Maolin Q2 revenue increased by 30% and estimated Q3 TV light guide board shipments grow slightly

In the second quarter of this year, Maolin’s battalion recovered to NT$1.1 billion and increased by more than 30% in the quarter, mainly driven by the increase in shipments of illuminated keyboard light guides.

Although panel manufacturers and TV brand manufacturers have recently promoted low-cost direct-lit LED-backlit TV products, the homogenizing components used in these models are flat diffusers. However, Maolin believes that thanks to the demand for LED-backlit TVs for specific customers, it is estimated that shipments of TV panels in the third quarter may still be 10% less than the previous quarter.

At present, the illuminated keyboard light guide plate accounts for 40% of Maolin's overall revenue, and it is the largest product project (it is reported that it is supplied to Macbook products). The proportion of TV light guide products revenue is about 30%-35%, and the total revenue of lighting light guide plates and other products is about 25%-30%.
