According to reports, the Universiade Center uses the world's leading independent control system with six core patent technologies, which can simultaneously control 23,880 sets of intelligent lamps, a total of 88,350 independent control units, fully automatic operation and monitoring 365 days a year. All the luminaires are installed on part of the main beam and the secondary beam of the steel structure, which realizes the concealment of the lamps and the trunking, completely eliminates the glare, and the light is not seen when the light is turned on.

It is said that the theoretical distribution limit of the lighting system of the Universiade Center is 4.2 billion. In order to realize the unique "crystal stone" effect, the lighting design of the Universiade Center is mainly composed of yellow, green, blue and white. In terms of power consumption, it is said that all the three "Crystal Stone" landscape lights are turned on, and the power consumption in one hour is only three or four hundred. The PH20 outdoor full-color screen installed in the main stadium has an area of ​​16.64 meters × 8.96 meters = 149.09 square meters and two PH10 indoor three-in-one patch full color screens installed on the north and south sides of the main stadium. It is reported that in order to welcome the arrival of the Universiade, Shenzhen has completed the landscape lighting construction of the 35 overpasses and pedestrian bridges of Binhe Road-Binhai Avenue, and also reconstructed the aged streetlight facilities. The semiconductor lighting streetlight demonstration project in the downtown area and the Science and Technology Park High-tech Zone also replaced more than 2,000 high-pressure sodium lamps of more than 60 roads with LED street lights. In addition, the city's 355 greening renovation and upgrading projects have also been basically completed, and 30 new parks have been built, and 55 renovations have been upgraded.
