Shanghai 380,000 street lights will be replaced with LED lighting

The 3 meter low pole LED street light technology is approaching maturity, but the "fit object" has not been found in the overhead LED street light.

Last year, Shanghai completed research projects such as “development of rail vehicle and platform height lighting system and its large-scale application” and “research and development and application of elevated road lighting fixtures”. Among them, LED tunnel lighting and street lighting fixtures have been developed. The average life expectancy is 50,000 hours. According to reports, Shanghai Metro Line 9 and Yan'an East Road tunnel reconstruction projects are willing to use LED lights, the specific plan is still being drafted.
