Socionext's products include two products to meet the growing demand for 360 ° camera applications. The semi-professional model is based on the company's SC2000 high-performance processor and has a real-time 4K image stitching function. The general consumer model is designed in collaboration with Cypress Semiconductor and ImmerVision, and has the built-in MBG967 IoT series processor. Both solutions include circuit board design reference information and software development kits. Equipment manufacturers can easily develop customized high-performance dome cameras for their unique applications.

The demand for real-time 360 ​​° image shooting is rapidly increasing, including applications such as virtual reality video real-time playback. To meet these needs, Socionext, Cypress and ImmerVision have jointly developed a camera accessory that can connect smartphones and other mobile devices. The "EZ-USB® CX3" bridge chip is compatible with USB3.0 and USB 2.0, and supports the USB video class (UVC), which provides a connection for high-resolution, high-speed image capture. ImmerVision's patented Panomorph optical technology and software can capture high-quality 360 ° images even on small cameras. With these advanced technologies from partners, Socionext launched the 360 ​​° camera solution MBG967 with built-in MilbeauTIoT processor, which can process input data from two cameras simultaneously.
