Cross-strait "LED Interface Electrical Specifications Grading and Standard" announced next month

On May 14, the Taiwan LED Lighting Industry Alliance (TLLIA) stated in Shanghai that the cross-strait LED industry bridging plan has been in existence for many years, and the first edition of the “Cross-Straits Electrical Specifications Classification and Standards” has been brewing for 2 years. Released, it is expected to be announced at Taipei Optoelectronic Week on June 18th. This is the first time our company and the mainland have reached an industrial standard for LED lighting.

Jianfeng Ren, Director of Taiwan LED Lighting Industry Alliance (TLLIA), Xiao Hongqing, Executive Director of Taiwan Lighting Association, and Jian Yumei, Director of TLLIA, participated in the 7th Shanghai International New Light Source & New Energy Lighting Forum on the 14th. Jane Yumei revealed after the meeting that the Taiwan LED Lighting Industry Alliance has reached consensus with mainland semiconductor industry associations.

Jian Yumei pointed out that LED is the third trillion yuan industry that Taiwan has high hopes for. The LED win-win industries of the two sides should complement each other, Taiwan's technology is more mature, and mainland China has a huge market. The two sides should break through barriers to patent barriers and enhance world competitiveness. The mainland and Taiwan can attack the world.

In 2009, after signing the LED lighting industry bridging plan, the two sides of the Strait experienced several exchanges of opinions on technology, industry development, etc., and conducted several street lighting pilot projects. The two sides have preliminary results in the application of LED lighting. The market estimates that the LED market will begin to flourish in 2013. The LED lighting industry on both sides of the two gorges will pay close attention to the standardization process. The first edition of the “LED Interface Electrical Specifications Grading and Standard” will be officially announced next month.
